Jaymes N. "Jay" Shackelford, 26, of Carmel, Indiana, formerly of Olive Branch, MS, passed away January 19, 2012. Born on July 11, 1985 in Memphis, TN, Mr. Shackelford was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served two tours in Iraq, and he was a licensed practical nurse (L.P.N.). Jay is survived by his wife, Denise A. Shackelford; his daughter, Zoey L. Shackelford; parents, William and Dru Shackelford; three brothers, Bill, Jeff, and John David Shackelford; and a sister, Angelique Shackelford. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, at 2:00pm in the Rotunda of West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, TN, with military honors.
