Jerry Neal Mathis

Jerry Neal Mathis, born April 28, 1934 in Wardell, Missouri passed away January 12, 2020 in Memphis, TN. He attended school in Wardell, Missouri and was the son of Virgil and Fanny Mathis. He worked at Dana Corp., located in Chicago, Illinois, for over 30 years as a Lab Technician. Jerry served in the United States Army from December 1956 to December 1958.

He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Barbara June Trimm; one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Michiels; and one son, Gregory Alan Mathis; two grandsons, Mark Steven and James Michiels; two sisters Judy Grant and Jeannie Gooch of Tennessee; and one brother, James Ronald of Ohio. He was preceded in death by one sister, Joann Hammock. Jerry was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed traveling and boating. He loved America and traveled to all 50 states in his motor home.
