Joanne Evans Foren, 74, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, kindness and strength. Joanne was a beloved companion to Linda, a selfless, loving mother to her daughter Cameron and a doting grandmother to Jake and Carter. Her family was the heart of her life, and she poured boundless love and support into every moment spent with them. Known for her extraordinary generosity, she gave selflessly, often putting the needs of her loved ones above her own, a trait that endeared her to all who knew her. Joanne had a passion for gardening and fishing. She found joy and peace fishing on the river on her sisters' dock, planting flowers in her yard, and creating beautiful spaces that reflected her warmth and care. Her green thumb was matched only by her skill as an exceptional sales manager, a role in which she thrived, earning respect for her leadership, dedication, and ability to connect with others. Joanne spent over thirty years in the Memphis Construction industry and retired from Ram Tool after a long career of doing what she loved. A true friend, Joanne cultivated deep and lasting relationships, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. Her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by her wide circle of friends and her beloved community. Joanne is survived by Linda Staten, her companion of nearly 30 years, her daughter, Cameron Perdue, her son-In-law Christopher Perdue, her grandchildren Jake and Carter Perdue and her great grandchildren Ada and Jackson Perdue to whom she was affectionately known as ‘JoJo’, and her loving sisters Alice Morrell and Patti McClain. Joanne also leaves her nephews, nieces, cousins and her aunt that loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Betty Evans, her sisters Marykay Parsons and Camie Evans, her brother Mike Evans and her granddaughter Cassie Jo Perdue. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at Christ the King, 785 Church Rd. Southaven, MS 38654. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Kidney Fund or the American Cancer Society. Joanne’s love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. We wait until we are with her again.
