John Robert Byers Sr., 85, of Byhalia passed away on March 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Mary Lee Byers. He leaves behind three sons; John Byers (Marcia), David Byers (Barbara), Tommy Byers (Sarah), one daughter; Rosemary Higgenbotham (Gary), six grandchildren; Elizabeth, Rebecca, Lauren, Andrea, Joshua, Sabrina, and one brother, Melvin Byers (Linda). He worked for many years with Southern Fabricators and retired with Griffin Inc. of Byhalia. He is now with his Lord and Savior and his love and memories will stay on. The family will receive friends on Sunday night from 5-7 p.m. Service will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 14, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS.
