Karl Clyde Coke, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Methodist Germantown. He was born on August 20, 1938 to the late Cecil and Mary Coke in Memphis, TN. Karl retired after 41 years as an electrician with Shelby Electric. He was a member of the Local 474 IBEW since 1959. Karl was an avid sportsman. His greatest passion was the Memphis Tigers and the St. Louis Cardinals. Karl’s favorite hobby was carpentry. If you named it, he could make it from Bluebird houses, swings, and toys. Karl also enjoyed saltwater fishing while living in Florida. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karl enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Coke, and a brother, Larry Coke. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Pat Coke; three children, Karl Coke, Jr. (Sheri), Dianne Corbin (Dennis), Pam Pittman (Ken), and a sister, Bobbie O’Farrell. He also leaves behind nine granddaughters and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
