Katherine Rhodes May, 91, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord Monday, March 8, 2021. Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. May, Sr.; son, Robert E. May, Jr.; parents, Roy and Ethel Rhodes; brother, Roy Rhodes, Jr.; and sister, Mary Alice Peel. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Davis; grandchildren: Brach A. Davis(Katlin); Brooke A. Davis(Toni); and Brandon E. May; great-grandchildren: Lainey, Kinsey, Briggs, Josh, and Jake; and sister, Peg Parrish. Mrs. May loved the Lord and was a member of Maples Memorial United Methodist Church in Olive Branch. She also loved to play Rook with her friends from church. She had a sassy and feisty personality which made her all the more fun to spend time with. She was an avid Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis State Tigers basketball fan. In her free time she enjoyed watching her birds and collecting decorative angels and Victorian style shoes. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 10-11 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00. A committal service will be held at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston, Mississippi at 2:30 pm.
