Kathryn Virginia Winders, 84, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on April 30, 2026. Kathryn was born on July 27, 1941, in Olive Branch, MS to the late Henry Wilson Winders, Jr. and Shirley Dickson Winders. She is a 1959 graduate of Olive Branch High School where she played basketball for the Lady Eagles. After high school, she went on to study business at Northwest Mississippi Junior College. She moved away to St. Louis for many years where she worked as an office manager for Michigan Mutual Insurance Company. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding horses in her free time. After she moved back to Olive Branch, she enjoyed going shopping with her sisters. Kathryn is survived by her sister, Shirley Sue Winders; brother, Henry Wilson Winders, III (Loretta); sister, Betty Ross (Jerry); her two nieces, Lynn McCartt and Elizabeth Clayton (Bobby); and two great-nieces, Lauren Street and Kathryn Tsai. A graveside service will be held at Blocker Cemetery on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
