Larry Wallace Murray
1 February, 1953 – 28 August, 2017
Larry W. Murray, 64, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at home after a long illness. Larry worked for Federal Express for 42 years and 1 day. He was a member of Memphis Shooting Association and served as president for 12 years. He also volunteered as Transportation Chairman for the Fed. Ex. St. Jude Classic for 29 years. Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Murray; his brother, Joel Murray, and his cousins, George Ward and Gail Garcia. Family will receive guests on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm with the Memorial Service to begin at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, Ms 38654.

I only knew Larry for the past few years, but what I knew of him was that he was a very kind and hard-working guy. It was my honor to have worked with him for a couple of years at the St. Jude golf tournament and to call him my friend. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Larry.
