Linda Patricia Lochridge

Linda Patricia Lochridge, 80, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. Linda was born on October 26, 1944, in Memphis, TN. She is a graduate of Southside High School in Memphis. She spent much of her working life as an insurance underwriter for Fidelity and Deposit. Linda was a believer in Jesus Christ and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Olive Branch where she taught Sunday School, played the piano and organ, and sang in the choir. She also used her musical talent by singing with the Sweet Adelines. She loved her family very much and spending time with them was one of her greatest joys. She also loved chocolate, especially Rolos. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Boydston; and her grandmother, Stella Bailey, who she loved dearly. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry Lochridge; son, Timothy Lochridge (Heather); son, Steven Lochridge (Jacqui); daughter, Pamela Logston; grandchildren: Maggie Lochridge, Emma Lochridge, Esther Arnold (Caleb), Rachel Lochridge, Jonathan Lochridge (Ashley), David Lochridge, Courtney Gullette (Zac), Spencer Steele, Lauren Logston, and Meredith Logston; great-grandchildren: Abigail, Elizabeth, James, Benjamin, Kimber, Dominic, and Murphy; sister, Peggy Jones; sister, Elizabeth Curtis; brother, L.E. Boydston (Lynn); and sister Barbara Romanoff. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at First Baptist Church (9155 Highland St., Olive Branch, MS 38654) on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
