Mason graduated from Lake Cormorant High School and then began to pursue a career at Fed Ex. He had planned on pursuing his CDL later this year and driving freight for FedEx.
Mason was an extrovert and loved people, not a shy bone in his body. Even as a baby, when at checkout counters he would hold his arms out to the cashiers wanting them to hold him. He always had a caring and compassionate heart for others since childhood. Despite his difficulties later in life that caring heart never changed. Mason was always more concerned about others needs and their wellbeing before his own. He loved his younger sister Emma very much and was very protective of her. He loved his family, friends and neighbors he grew up with.
Mason professed his faith in Jesus Christ at 8 years old, so we have peace in knowing that he is with our Lord and Savior and our hope remains to be reunited with him one day. He is survived by his parents, Amy and Justin Willoughby; his sister, Emma Willoughby; his grandparents, Dennis Hatchell, Patricia Rutland and Theresa Webb, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS, 38654, US, on March 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at the same location from 6:00 pm to 6:40 pm.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
