Michael Allen Savage, age 66 of Olive Branch, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013. He was born October 28, 1947 in East St. Louis, Illinois. Mr. Savage was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving as a Master Sergeant. He loved music, and played the guitar, organ and piano. He was the Minister of Music at Richland Baptist Church for 14 years. He also sang at the Grand Ole Opry with the Gaithers. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Allen Savage. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Dixie Ann Chandler Savage; his daughter, Andrea Nichole Hilliard (Jason Stephan); his son, Ralph Michael Thompson; his brother, Patrick Lynn Savage (Rene’); his mother, Emma Jean Savage; 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be 4 PM Saturday, November 16 at Brantley Funeral Home. A visitation will follow the service. Burial will follow 1:45 PM Tuesday, November 19 at West Tennessee Veterans’ Cemetery.
