

She gave her life to Christ in her youth and lived to serve Him all of her days. Over her life, she was devoted to missions with a special calling for serving in children ministries. She played several instruments and sang in worship services.
Molly also worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital for nearly 30 years before she retired.
Molly was a devoted mother and “Honey”. She always made sure others were taken care of before herself. Her love was always unconditional and she will be greatly missed.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Mary Elisabeth and Matthew Robert.
She is survived by her son, David H Heaton, Jr (Jill); her daughter, Susanna W Hurst (Michael); eleven grandchildren: Kathren H Hurst, Jakob T Hurst, Lucy D Heaton, Matthew R Hurst, Rose E Heaton, Andrew W Heaton, June E Heaton, Hayes G Heaton, Lauren M Hurst, Dolly F Heaton, and Walter R Heaton; and two great-grandchildren, Thomas D Rainey, Jr. and River G Rainey; and many other loving family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake, Ms.
