Richard Willis Mattingly, Olive Branch , MS, 74, passed away on July 15, 2016. He was a Memphis Police Officer for 30 years who will be greatly missed by all that knew him. There was a gathering of friends on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. The Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Olive Branch, MS. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Calvary Cemetery in Memphis, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and W.A. Mattingly and brother, Raymond Mattingly. Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Mattingly; Step-daughter, Cathy Bailey; step-son, Mark Bird; cousin, Ken Harris; 2 nephews, Michael and Mark Mattingly; niece, Lauren Mattingly he also leaves a host of friends that will miss him very much.
