Sandra M. Wylie

SANDRA LOUISE MINOR WYLIE, 62, of Memphis, Tennessee was called home Friday, May 14, 2010. Daughter of Patsy Ruth McAllister Minor and the late Edsel Ray Minor, she was born on December 5, 1947 in Russellville, Arkansas. Sandy graduated from Whitehaven High School in 1966. She married Clark David Wylie of Olive Branch, Mississippi on March 12, 1966 and they lived a wonderful life together in Memphis. They had two children, Allison Wylie Dawson of Canton, Georgia and Preston Minor Wylie of Southaven, Mississippi. Sandy taught preschool for 10 years before her final career choice of 17 years at Tricor Braun. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and her high school girlfriend group the "Heifers". She loved to travel and spent most of her time with her family and friends. Sandy is survived by her mother, husband, and children, as well as 3 grand children, Zachary Allen Dawson (14); Zoe Elizabeth Dawson (5); and Evan Parker Wylie (6m). She is also survived by 1 sister, 2 brothers, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and 9 great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 17, and funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, both at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Blocker Cemetery.
