Rev. Susie Aline Jones, 75, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2024. Rev. Jones was born on March 14, 1949 in Hernando, MS to the late David and Pricie Jones. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Norman A. Jones; brother, Lester E. Jones; sister, Addie Mae Jones Brewer; brother, Harold F. Jones; sister, Lila Jones Darnell; sister, Mary Jones; and sister, Sarah Jones Henley. She is survived by her brother, John Jones (Cynthia); and several nieces and nephews. She is a graduate of Olive Branch High School. In her younger years, she worked in hospital administration in the Memphis area. She was then ordained as a United Methodist Minister. Rev. Jones served as a minister for 12 years. During those 12 years, she served at many different churches and her last assignment before retirement was Kilmichael United Methodist Church in Kilmichael, MS. In her free time, she enjoyed being outdoors whether that was tending to her flower gardens or going on long walks. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 5-7pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 6, 2024, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.
