Victor Frank Treadway, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 17, 1940 to the late Vic and Edna Treadway in Cockrum, MS. Frank served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for four years. He was a Firefighter for the Memphis Fire Department where he retired after 30 years of service. Frank then was a volunteer firefighter for the Lewisburg Fire Department. He worked on the Board of Directors for the Lewisburg Water Association. Frank loved his family. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with this grandchildren. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vic and Edna Treadway; three brothers: Billy Treadway, Payne Treadway, Danny Teadway, and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Anglin, and Sara Battle. Frank leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Kay Treadway; two children, Kim May (Joe), and Dennis Treadway (Denise); a sister, Eva Laurent (Dick), and three brothers: Dale Treadway (Carolyn), Edgar Treadway, and Joey Treadway (Linda). He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Keely May, Ally May, Jenna May, Eason Treadway, John Treadway, and Dane Treadway. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am at Fountainhead Methodist Church, 1617 Red Banks Rd. S Byhalia, MS 38611. Burial will follow at Fountainhead Church Cemetery. The family request that memorial contributions be made to Fountainhead Church Cemetery Fund, 1267 Red Banks Rd. S Byhalia, MS 38611.
