

William Prentice “Jack” Warren, Jr., 93, died April 6, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Desoto in Southaven, MS. He was born June 14, 1920 in Gallatin, TN to the late William and Eva Mitchener Warren. Jack was a good man who had a long and blessed life. He loved his Lord, his family and the wonderful people God sent into his life. Jack was a graduate of Tennessee Polytechnic Institute and served in the Army-Air Corp in the Pacific Theatre of WWII. He worked in Construction Engineering in Paducah, KY and in Memphis and retired from Management Computer Control in 1986. He was a member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church. Jack is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne Douglas Warren, a blessed and happy marriage, a son; Doug Warren, grandchildren; Chris Warren(Erica), Jessica Holmes(Stephen), Jason Warren, Lesley McClain(Allen), Leigh Hawkins(Lance), great grandchildren; Lexi Hawkins, Whitney Warren, Hailey Holmes and Zackery McClain. He was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Deegan, a son; Bill Warren and a grandson; Billy Warren. Visitation will be 5pm – 7pm, Tuesday with funeral services 10am, Wednesday at Minor Memorial United Methodist Church in Walls, MS. Memorials can be made to the church.
