Betty (Beatrice) Hoffman - February 5, 1936 - March 28, 2011 - Betty passed away peacefully at the Penticton Regional Hospital on Monday, March 28, 2011 with family at her side. Predeceased by daughter, Debbie; son, Gary; brothers, Dick and Hank; sisters, Irene and Evelyn; and her mother and father, Lily and Ed Webber. Lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 55 years, Albert; daughter Lori and her son Jessy; son, Guy (Kathie) and their children, Bryce, Damaya, Malynda, Willie, Nicole, Tyson and great granddaughters, Sophia and Hanna; daughter, Susan Trower (Brian) and their children, Brandee and Munroe and great-granddaughter, Haylee; son, Alan (Peggy) and their children, Henry and Jasper; brothers, Barry Regan (Arleigh) and Louis Webber; and many nieces, nephews (great and great greats), cousins and dear friends and neighbours. Betty loved butterflies and children, and had many interests including gardening, reading, walking, knitting, baking and making soup, and most recently the computer and internet. Donations gratefully appreciated to the Okanagan Similkameen Neurological Society or Vancouver Children’s Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced. “You dedicated your life to your husband and children. You left us far too early, but we know you have gone from our arms into the arms of those who went before you. Like a butterfly you spread your wings and fly”.
