I have very fond memories of Jack as a prominent mentor in my young life.  He gave me a summer job in Kelowna, helping him clear land for a range he was constructing in the West Bank area of Kelowna in around 1983.  I got promoted from bushwacking to his right hand man building criss/cross log fences.  He was pleasure to work with, supported my work ethic.  The next year he agreed to be a referrence for my Medical School Application, for which I was successful, and I am greatful for his support.  Over the years I have fondly remembered my time with Jack and his positive influence and support.  I was sad to hear of his passing, and always wanted to see him again to thanks him for his support.  I hope this note finds its way to a member of his family, I wish you all well, and know you all carry a piece of Jack in your hearts, ensuring he lives on.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. It's hard to believe - he was always the guy with a boundless supply of energy, smiles, and laughs! Keep smilin in the next go-round, old buddy.

I have not seen Jack since Carson but I played Soccer and spent 12 years in school with him. He went through a lot but always did the right thing, he was a man to be proud of.

Many wonderful memories of growing up with Jack, will cherish those. He always had a way of making us all laugh and showed us how to live life to its fullest. he will be missed by many, wishing Deb and family peace.

Went to school with jack  grade 1 to 12, grad of Carson Graham 1971,,Deep Cove /Cates park, played soccer and baseball  and hung out in our school years, Lots of good times,Beach fires at Cates Park,Gone to soon, thinking of Debbie and her Family ,, Brad Kenning

I remember our family running into the Peach family along with the Brian Andrews' family on a camping trip to Conkle Lake in 1992.  I still vividly remember Jack teaching his kids what to do in case they were in a boat and it tipped over.  He spent a lot of time trying to prepare his kids for possible outcomes.  Our eldest daughter enjoyed spending time at the Peach household with Tara during her high school years.  Were very sorry to hear of Jack's passing.  He is gone too soon

Jack will always be high up in my memories of Deep Cove.

I am saddened to here of Jack's passing, it has been 40 years visited jack last June during my stay in Osoyoos. He was my childhood friend from the late 50's to early 70's and enjoyed working on projects with him ecspecly that NSU scooter. Rest in peace my friend, Alan Cumberlidge.
