

Jocelyn Winnifred McFee passed away after a long illness on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the age of 76. Predeceased by her father, (1951); mother (2001); sister, Louiselle (2001) and twin brother and sister (1930). Lovingly remembered by husband, George; daughters, Kathy, Sally, Patricia, Darleen, Deborah, Linda and son, Stanley; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; survived by sister, Rita McDaniel of Chilliwack. Jocelyn worked for many years for the Bank of Montreal and Auld-Phillips in Chilliwack before deciding to run her own very successful business, Sun Valley Mobile Home Sales and Service in Oliver for 6 years. She also ran Richter Pass Motel in Osoyoos and was owner of Lake Motel, Lac La Hache. She loved to travel and visited all states west of the Mississippi and also including New York, Florida and the Carribean. Jocelyn was a member of the Lady Lioness, Lac La Hache, Elks Club, Oliver and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 97, Oliver and the United Church of Canada. Jocelyn was instrumental in the sewer and water commission of Lac La Hache. She was a go getter and helped others anywhere she went. Her hobbies included crib and bingo and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 97, Oliver on Friday, January 7, 2011, 11 o’clock officiated by Ann White. Interment will follow at Oliver Cemetery.
