Kiriaki Gavriilidou

Kiriaki “Yiayia” Gavriilidou (1931 ~ 2015) - Yiayia passed away suddenly at the South Okanagan General Hospital on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the age of 84 years; predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Christo, 2 brothers and a nephew. Lovingly remembered by son, Savvas (Connie) Gavriilidis and daughter, Simela (Savvas) Makridis; grandchildren, Maria and Peter and great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Tristen and Alex. Survived by twin sister and two brothers and many nieces and nephews. Yiayia came to Canada in 1972 and it was always her dream to go back to Greece. Prayers will be held in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home, 5920 Kootenay Street, Oliver on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 o’clock. Interment will be held in Winnipeg.
