

Born to Leonard Vyborny (deceased) and Sharon Anderson on January 10, 1968, in Omaha, Nebraska. Ann attended Our Lady of Lourdes grade school and graduated from St. Joseph High School where she was active on the Pom squad and Ann Marie was a Homecoming Queen candidate. Ann continued her education, getting certification as a court reporter.
Ann married Barry Kussman and has two sons, Josh and Nick. She then got divorced and later was married and widowed.
Ann Marie is remembered by her mother Sharon, stepfather John Anderson, brothers Sonny and Mark Vyborny, stepbrothers Marc (Pam) and Scott Anderson, sons Josh and Nick, and their father Barry Kussman, along with many cousins and friends.
Ann Marie was a beautiful soul who lived a life full of challenges. Ann experienced homelessness off and on for more than 20 years. She was a strong advocate for her community and a cherished friend to many.
Ann had a heart full of love for her family and friends and animals of all kinds. Ann endured Nebraska weather with courage and creativity. Ann was a child of God who rarely lost faith. Ann carried the weight of trauma, medical struggles and mental health problems. Ann touched the lives of many people and left a lasting mark on the community. Ann volunteered at Sequel Thrift Store for many years.
Ann's spirit lives on in the memories of many.
Interment is for family and friends at Westlawn Hillcrest 5701 Center at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 22nd.
Please join us as we celebrate Ann's life Saturday, March 22nd, at First Church of the Nazarene, 2600 Avenue A in Council Bluffs at noon. Please come and share your wonderful memories with us at this luncheon. The Church is about a block north of Broadway on 25th street.
