Preceded in passing by his loving parents, Andreas and Anny. Survived by many friends.
He loved reading his Hardy Boys books, watching old television shows, and sporting events. He loved visiting with his friends and petting the dogs. He enjoyed going out to eat and his weekly fast food. He relished his trips to Colorado. Bernie was an avid Nebraska fan. And he has now left us always hearing a faint... "GO HUSKERS, GO!!!"
A visitation for Bernhard will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
