Betty passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones after a sudden illness. A devoted wife, mother, and foster mother to 43 children, Betty was a caring and generous woman with a special love for animals. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles; father Leslie Dawson; mother Gertrude Dawson (Harmer); brother Robert; sister Irene; and her granddaughter Amelia Josefina Gray. Survived by sons, Michael (Susan), Mickey, and Mark (Consuela); daughters, Lisa and Lori; grandchildren, Elizabeth, David, Gregory, Nathan, Caroline, Sara, Hope, Charles, Annalisa, and Erika; and great grandchildren, Caleb, Zoe, Donovan.
