Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Sherleen; daughter, Michelle (Scott) McCary; sons, Michael and Brian; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve and Donald; former son-in-law, Pat Cahalane; and many relatives and friends.
Chuck retired from OPPD after 37 years. He went on to drive a school bus at First Student for special needs students for 10 years. Chuck was a humanitarian and provided The Red Cross with over 400 blood and platelet donations. He even received a commendation from the Army for saving a pregnant woman's life while stationed in Turkey with his platelet donation. He was a devoted husband and father.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11 am at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
