Cynthia is survived by her daughter Jolene (Mike) Laakso; her daughter Bobbi (Bret) Brown; and her son Brian Briggs; her grandson Blake Brown, her grandson Jack Briggs, her grandson Samuel Briggs, her granddaughter Claire Briggs and her great grandson Brayden Brown, sister Karen, brothers Larry, Mark, Jerry, Terry, 2 bonus great granddaughters Lilly and Karlee.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her father Henry L Smith and her mother Theresa J. Brosnihan-Smith; her brother Kenneth Smith; her grandson Brandon Brown, and her grandson Brenden Briggs.

A visitation for Cynthia will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
