I was glad to call you my friend. You were one of the best guys I ever met.  Your humor and good nature will be sorely missed. Your  good heart couldn’t be hid. You did me so many good turns, I can not count  I will miss your smile and your presence. You also had good taste in woman>❤️Sharon<

I met Dave in 1976 while stationed at Offutt. We became good friends. We laughed, cried and bled together....rode together as brothers. I don't think he ever met a stranger....I'll see ya on the other side ....

Dave was known as "Neighbor Dave" in our house since my husband has the same name.  And that's a very apt description of him as well!  He would take care of the boulevard in front of our houses, visit with other neighbors passing by, and come and talk bikes with the guys.  You always knew spring had arrived when you started to see Dave sitting on his front deck or hear his motorcycle warming up in his driveway.  Sending our heartfelt condolences to Sharon and to their families.

Lot of silly memories. Like as kids going to start a band. Time got away. Rode together acouple times when I lived in Iowa. Same David I always knew. One of best. Your missed Cuz. Star to Star brother. God's Speed. Love you man.

I remember seeing Dave at a family reunion at Uncle Eddy and Aunt Lucille's.  He was climbing the tree in their front yard. Don't know if that tree is still there, but I remember Dave. We always got along very well. I last saw him at Auntie Anne's memorial brunch a couple of years ago. It was wonderful. I had no idea that he was sick and I'm absolutely shocked by all of this. I'll miss all of your facebook posts, David.

Dave always had a smile.  He was always positive and helpful.  I was privileged to know him.

My heart goes out to Sharon and family. Dave was one though dude. I never missed a day where I did not talk to him at work. I missed him when he retired from OPS and my heart hurts knowing that he's  gone from this earth.
