Schmid, David January 22, 1943 - June 25, 2019 David Schmid of Omaha, NE passed away June 25th in the presence of family. Born January 22, 1943, to Henry and LaRetta Schmid, David later served his country in the U.S. Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles. Survived by daughter, Stephanie Poisel; son, Daniel (Treva) Schmid; grandchildren, Christopher (Justine) Schmid, Megan (Jordan) Brummel, Madeleine Svatos, Shiloh Schmid; great-grandson Colt Schmid; brother Hank (Margo) Schmid; one niece; two nephews; and former spouse Joyce Bires. The Family will receive friends and family Sunday, June 30th for VISITATION at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home from 4-6pm.
