
Age 93 Passed away on June 18, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, Roswell and Myrtle Stouder; brother Everett Stouder; and sister Marjorie Stouder Thomas. Military Service: US Navy from April 30, 1940 to July 1, 1960 (Honorable); US Fleet Reserve Inactive July 1, 1960. He served on the USS Princeton, the USS Indianapolis, and the USS Fulton at retirement. After retiring from the Navy, he worked at Offutt Air Force Base Civil Service in the position of Manager of a clothing sales store, Billeting Officer, Housing Referral Officer, Housing Management Officer, and Housing Project Manager. He received many Awards and Letters of Appreciation. After retiring a second time in December of 1982, he and his wife Phyllis enjoyed many years Square Dancing with Circle and Swing Square Dance Club. They traveled to many National conventions. They loved camping and meeting up with family and friends while enjoying their Motor Home. They were Charter Members of Aldersgate Methodist Church in Bellevue. Floyd is survived by his wife of 70 years, Phyllis Stouder; daughters, Carol Sorensen, and Paula (Richard) Craig; grandchildren, Gregory (Jerri) Sorensen, Kendra Sorensen, Danal (Leslie) Gillman, Annalisa (Steven) Craig, and Brandee Gillman; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great gandchildren..
