Frank J. Moore

Frank was born on July 29, 1950, in Macon, Mississippi to the late James Moore Sr. and Queen E. Moore. At 16, he moved with his family to Omaha, Nebraska. Frank dedicated over 40 years of his life working at Omaha Steel Company.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jerry Moore; son-in-law, Donald Manns; and grandson, Michael Manns.

Known as the quiet one among his ten siblings, Frank was an avid sports enthusiast, a genuinely nice person, and a sharp dresser.

He cherished spending time with his family, and especially enjoyed quality time with his tag team partner (grandson), Saint Christopher.

He leaves to celebrate his life, wife, Lorena Moore; son, Christopher Moore (Va’Shauna); step-daughters, Angela Manns and Beth Lambert (Gary); brothers, Henry (Doris), James Jr. (Danielle), Jonny, Ottis (Brenda), Robert and Willie Moore; sisters, Juanita Moore, Mary E. Kinard(Edward Kinard) and Mary C. Shields; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service for Frank will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.

Frank will be laid to rest in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
