Fred Citta, long time farmer and owner of Citta Gardens, passed away suddenly at the age of 91. Fred enjoyed gardening & selling home grown produce and pumpkins until summer 2014. He loved his family, friends, and customers, he will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by wife Jean (Brazda) Citta and daughter Linda (Citta) Robinson. Survived by children Mary Jean Citta, Carol Citta, Kathy (Citta) Lewis (William), Fred J. Citta (Jeannette); son-in-law George Robison: grandchildren Shelley Synowieki (Thad), Matthew Citta, William Simons (Lisa) & Jill Citta; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Mokay & Josephine Golda; brothers Frank Citta & Carl Citta (Maxine); beloved dog Snoopy; many other relatives. Visitation Friday with family receiving friends from 5 to 7pm at; funeral service Saturday 10am both at Westlawn-Hillcrest. In lieu of flowers memorials to American Diabetes Association or Boys Town.
