Watkins, Gary D. Gary was born on December 28, 1955 in Omaha, NE. He passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2018. He became a Registered Architect in both Nebraska and Colorado, and achieved NCARB Ceritification. He married Michelle Cook, of Lincoln, on October 5, 2002. Gary is preceded in death by parents, Dean and Arel; brother, Kent; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, grandparents. He is survived by wife, Michelle; sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Ken Franklin; nieces, Jessica and Sarah; father and mother-in-laws, Gene and Louanne Cook; brother-in-law, Craig Cook; sister-in-law, Ina; nephews, Daniel and Ariq; and niece, Aisya Hailey. VISITATION at Kahler Dolce Mortuary Wednesday, March 21st, from 2-8pm. Visitation continues Thursday at 10am at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 South 114th St., Omaha, followed by FUNERAL SERVICES begining at 11am. Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha.
