

Gerald Dale Marfisi, preceded in death by parents, Frank and Della Marfisi; brothers, Frank, Carl, Ronald, and Donald. Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Phyllis Marfisi; sons, Donald (Pamela) and Gerald (Terri) Marfisi; daughter, Tina Hall (Paul Glasshoff); sisters, Darlene Cappellano and Ellen Schutte; grandchildren, Maryjo Hubbard, Amanda Hall, Josiah Marfisi, Melissa Marfisi, Michael Denetelli, Matthew (Breanne) Marfisi, Gina (Shanna) Denetelli, Anna Marfisi, and Morgan (Colin) Chambers; great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Sebastian Hubbard, Carter Chambers, Joseph and Roman Marfisi, and Emilia Selph; brother-in-law, Bill (Patty) Hargens; sister-in-law, Mary Ann (John) Kaffenberger; nieces, Ann Marie Hargens, Elizabeth, Alexis, and Laci Kaffenberger; and many other family members and friends.
From the age of 12, Gerald started working at Little Franks, washing dishes at Caniglia's and delivering bread for Kuenne's and Rotella's Bakeries. Later, he became a licensed real estate agent for Marsh Real Estate before devoting 27 years of his life to serving the City of Omaha as the City Maintenance Supervisor for the Street Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department, before retiring in 1998.
VISITATION: Thursday, April 3, 5-7 p.m. with ROSARY at 7 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest. FUNERAL MASS: Friday, April 4 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, with INTERMENT to follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest.
