He was born October 9,1946 in Bunch, IA to Earl Eugene and Freda Edna Downing Albright.
Jim joined the National Guard on March 1964 and served his country for 6 years.
He married Susan Fisher (Eakins) on November 21, 1993
He served on the Honor Guard and as Chaplin for the American Legion Post 32 for 8 years.
Jim leaves behind a beautiful legacy. He has worn many hats throughout his life, but none as important as husband, father and grandfather. His grandsons and great granddaughters were his world and his greatest joy.
Surviving are his wife, Susan ; a step-daughter, Jennifer (Russell) Addleman of Plattsmouth Ne ; Grandsons Jacob Addleman (Chloe), their 2 girls Council Bluffs IA, Tristen Addleman of Plattsmouth Ne, and Hunter Addleman (Grace) of Plattsmouth Ne ; Step-son Vick (Susan) Saunders of Albia IA, Step-son Pete (Martha) Saunders Oskaloosa IA, and their families, a brother Gary Albright of Ottumwa; a sister, Teresa (Bill) Rozenboom of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl E. Albright, his mother Freda Six, Step-father Walter Six and brother Glen Albright.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 14th, at Plattsmouth Bible Church with Pastor Mike Wolfe officiating.
