Kathleen Ann Clausen

Kathie Clausen, originally Kathleen Meredith, was born on February 25, 1953, and peacefully passed away on August 7, 2024. She was a 1971 graduate of South High School in Omaha, NE. Kathie was employed by the city of Omaha for most of her career. Her deep faith and devotion to God brought her comfort, and we take solace in knowing she is now at rest.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her mother, Helene Kalous; and her father, Rev. Ronald Meredith Sr.; and grandparents, Anna & Frank Halda and Florence & Thomas Meredith.

She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Clausen, and her children: Stacey (Ryan) Sanders, Cory (Monique) Kinman, Jason Kinman, Jadyn Clausen, and stepdaughter, Jennifer (Jake) Ryba. She is also remembered by her brother, Ron (Betsy) Meredith Jr., and her sisters, Karen (Keith) Turner and Debbie (Dean) Jensen. Her legacy continues through her four cherished grandchildren: Noah, Natalie, Jacob, and Ava, along with her four beloved step-grandchildren: Cameron, Zoey, Owen, and Quinn as well as several nieces, nephews & cousins. Kathleen also leaves behind her adored dog, Bella and will be remembered for the love she had for her late dog, Puddy.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 16, at Omaha National Cemetery, located at 14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138. All who knew her are warmly invited to join us in honoring her memory.
