Survived by wife, Patty; children; Sarah (Amy) Lamb and Kyle (Miranda); sister-in-law, Joanne; brother-in-law, Steve (Susie) Pleiss; mother-in-law, Sharon Pleiss; nieces and nephews, Julia (Mike) McCarville, Rachel (Gene) Johnson, Sam (Jordan), Aaron (Franki), Jackson Pleiss.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 15, 5-8 pm with Prayer Service at 7 pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest. Funeral Service Tuesday, November 16 at 11 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Visitation starting at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery.
Martin grew up in Colorado before settling in Nebraska. He was a proud Husker fan, lover of Snapple tea, total Trekkie, and enjoyed spoiling his three granddogs. His heart was big enough for everyone and he was happiest when he could be a source of joy to others.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
