Mary Margaret Baldwin

Mary Margaret was born on August 5, 1950 to Richard and Mabel Gannon (both deceased) in Omaha, NE. She attended St. Rose Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1968.

She met the love of her life, Byron, in early 1970 and they were married on November 14 of the same year. Byron and Mary have four (4) children and when they were young, she was mostly a stay-at-home mom. Mary was active in choir and PTA at Sts. Peter & Paul Parish where the family were active members.

After the children were raised, Mary worked at Orthopedic Clinic and Sports Medicine and later was the Kitchen Manager at Sts. Peter & Paul School in South Omaha.

In 1995, Byron and Mary moved to Papillion and Mary worked at Infogroup in Papillion until her retirement in 2014.

Mary Margaret loved hosting gatherings in her home, cooking, watching movies, playing cards and games with friends and crocheting.

Mary is survived by her husband Byron, brother Michael (Jackie) Gannon of St. Louis, MO, sister Kathleen Dragon of Omaha, 4 children - Robert of Papillion, Jeremy (Gerri Ann) of Omaha, Shannon (Martin) Thies of New Berlin, WI, Ben of Omaha, and 6 grandchildren – Cody, Marah, Jacob, Brittany, Joshua and Andrew.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 5 from 6pm – 8pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, Funeral – Friday, October 6 at 2pm at the funeral home.
