In one month, he showed us true strength. Despite the odds stacked against him, he transcended expectations. Although the loss is immeasurable so too is the love left behind.
Max is the blossom meant to bloom in Heaven. He will never know the temptations and evil of this world. For this, he is truly blessed. So too is he blessed for the love that awaited him on Earth. Now, we have love awaiting us in Heaven.
We need not worry about Max as one day with the Lord is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day. While the living mourn the dead, the dead mourn the living; for it is we who must carry on without.
It has long been believed that when you love someone they receive a piece of your soul. In return you receive a piece of theirs. When they leave us they take a piece of us with them. However, we keep a piece of them.
Max will forever have a home in our hearts and us a home in his. He will know us better than we know ourselves.
