

Megan Davis-Rotert, 45, passed away on April 7, 2026. She was born on August 2, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan, to Andrew Davis I and Catherine (Murphy) Doman. Megan was a hardworking and beloved woman who will be remembered with lasting affection by all who knew her. She was a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Megan was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Doman; and her great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth Douglas.
Those left to cherish Megan’s memory include her husband, Adam Rotert; her daughters, Cassie Bernal, Ilana Davis, Nevaeh Davis, and Izzabella Helgoth; her father, Andrew Davis I; her step-mother, Robin Hodges; her siblings, Andrew Davis II, Aaron Davis, Justin Davis, and Kathleen Tanang; her step-sister, Phyllis Hodges; her beloved dogs, Marty and Junior; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

Family was always Megan’s main priority. She was fun, fearless, and never backed down from trying new things, carrying that spirit through every stage of her life. She especially loved spending time with her children, who meant everything to her, and created countless memories filled with love, laughter, and comfort.
Megan had a deep love for holidays and cherished bringing her family together. She took great pride in decorating her home for each holiday, filling it with warmth, joy, and festive spirit. She loved being surrounded by her family during these special times.
She had a vibrant personality and loved being the center of attention, bringing energy and light wherever she went. Her laugh was truly contagious, and every room she walked into felt brighter because of her presence. Megan was a deeply caring person who always knew how to make things okay, offering comfort, strength, and unwavering love to those around her.
Megan also had a love for animals and cared deeply for her dogs, Marty and Junior. Throughout her life, she cared for many pets, and at one point, she and her husband owned over 17 guinea pigs.
She enjoyed expressing her creativity through art, often spending hours at Yours Pottery. She loved shopping, exploring farmers markets, and finding beauty in simple, everyday moments.
Megan traveled throughout her life and lived in Michigan, Nebraska, and Florida. She enjoyed sightseeing, walking along the beach, and especially cherished her trips to Florida and Hawaii.
Megan’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on in all who knew and loved her.
