Preceded in death by mother, Jean Rae Rothschild; father, Jack (Glenda) Merwald; and daughter, Jessica "Jesse" Gofta.
Survived by loving husband, William "Bill" Gofta; daughter, Jocelyn; grandchildren, Presley and John Gofta; sister, Bernadette; and many other family and friends.
Meridith attended Westside High School. In 1981, she married Bill and they had 2 beautiful daughters. After raising her girls, she found a love for art, silversmithing, and designing jewelry.
A visitation for Meri Ann will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
