Monte was born on July 6, 1940, to George and Marion Frost. He proudly served in the National Guard and went on to build a long career with Western Electric, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
Monte was a man who found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He loved spending time tinkering with old cars and was always happiest in the garage working on a project. Above all else, his greatest accomplishment and pride in life was watching his grandchildren grow, traveling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Frost; his daughters, Michelle Bussell and Marilee (John) Lieber; his cherished grandchildren, Sam, Daniel, Michael, and Melissa Bussell; great grandson, Arthur; niece, Kim (John) Valien; sister, Bonnie Fitel; and nieces, Glenda and Ashley.
Monte will be remembered for his funny hats, loud personality, quick wit, antique cars, and deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
