

Nancy graduated from Missouri Valley, Iowa High School in 1967.
Nancy had a varied career, beginning at Longview Nursing home in high school. She also was cashier/department manager at Safeway in Missouri Valley, admissions at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, customer service at Ratigan Motors in MV and retired as Customer Service Manager at Wilkinson Manufacturing.
Nancy had a ton of hobbies over the years, everything from motorcycling riding to diamond dots! Nancy sewed many of her own clothes since Miss McCready’s Home Ec class in high school. Other interests included camping and fishing, raising fish, jewelry making, gardening, canning, knitting, crocheting and plastic canvas, puzzles, and keeping a cleaner than clean house.
Survived by her daughter Michelle (Dominick) Zappia, stepchildren Kelly (Mark) Whitehair and Kyle Detweiler, her grandchildren Bailey Goodell, Tierney Robinson, Morgan (Connor) Kelley, Isabelle Robinson, Sam & Andrew West, Daxton & Jagger Zappia, brothers Jerry Woodcock, Michael (Jeanette) Woodcock, sisters Carol Wright, Dixie (Rich) Bowen, great grandchildren Gabe, Jayce and Elena.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her son William Robinson and husband Dave Detweiler.
A private graveside service will be held in Omaha then a Celebration of Life in Missouri Valley at the St. Patrick’s Church Houdek Center, Sunday May 17 at 1:00 pm; all who knew her are welcome to come and share memories.
