Happy 60th Birthday buddy!!!!  Miss you always! Never far from our hearts

Oh my...........one year has gone by.  Our lives have forever changed and are empty without you in them.  We cry and laugh often about you and the things you would do and say!  You had a heart of gold and a head of marble and we love you dearly for both.  We love you and miss you so very much Bobby and hope that you are in peace.  Love Lynn, Mike, boys, Mom & Ruthie.

I was in the the same grade as Bob in school. My memories are from the distant past. It will thrill people who do not care for our current Governor, that Bob may have kicked Petes shins black and blue. For people who like our current governor,  Bob was merely being his competitive self and only accidentally kicked Petes shins during many a game of soccer out on the play ground.  I do remember Bob had a great smile,  he shall be greatly missed I am sure.

I have so many fun memories of him. I really wish we were able to make it and celebrate his life with family. We are going to miss his laugh and happy smile. He is now at peace and will remain with us for life! So sorry for your loss Aunt Helen and Aunt Lynn! Love you all very much!

My cousin was called many names, Robert, Bob, Bobo and a few others I really should not mention.  For me he will always be Bobby.  We grew up together as cousins but mostly we were friends.  Of course I was older (by 4 months) which meant I knew everything and always reminded him of this little fact.
That is. .  Until we got older and he would refer to me as old lady once in a while!!

Whether my family went to their house or his family came to our house  . . we always found something to do . . . like pick on Lynn.  My fondest memories are the summers we would go to the family cabin next to the Missouri river.  Always plenty of food to eat, Goodies pops in the pop machine and getting into trouble for wasting the pop.  We would play yard darts back when the darts had metal tips . . . but that did not stop us from throwing them at eat other.
There were several picnic tables between cabins, were family and friends would spend the day talking about anything and everything!! Once in a while we would go for a ride in my dad's boat.  Those days seem so long ago but I will never forget them.  

We got older, our lives were changing. . we would see each other at holidays and family celebrations.
The last few years we kept in touch by text, Facebook and an occasional phone call to see what was going on in our worlds.

Now Bobby is up in heaven with both our dad's and other beloved family members.  I know he is at peace.  Bobby has touched each and every one of us in a different way.  He loved his family and many friends . . . and those memories will be with all of us, forever.  

I read this few weeks ago and it is so true . . In the blink of an eye, everything can change.  So forgive often, and love with all your heart.  You may not have that chance again.

So sorry Lynn about your brother. May you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

You Bowen Boys had better be good up there!!!

My heart is so heavy to hear of Bob's passing. He was an ornery, hilarious guy, who was always so sweet to me. RIP old friend, you will be missed. 

My nephew Bob, may you Rest In Peace.  I will always remember our good times together. A big man with a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. I will miss you and will always Love you.

Bob was a great guy and will be missed. We had lots of laughs over the years. I always had to keep a watchful eye on him and the Walsh brothers during the 18th years and usually we had a good laugh afterwards!

Never forget the time he walked into the 18th amendment for holloween dressed as hulk hogan, speedo and wig. Absolutely hilarious.

Loved Bob! So many fun and funny stories that I/we have with him.
I remember dating my now husband, Matt, he was so impressed when Matt left the bar (the Paradise)  and I stayed and drank with Bob, shot for shot until they closed and the next day he gave Matt his approval on me lol.
From softball games/tournaments, to just nights out at the bar he would have everyone in tears laughing. He was always the life of the party.
He was one of our groomsmen in our wedding and had all the guys doing the John Wayne walk before the ceremony which was all caught on tape, just to have a laugh and to loosen everyone up. 
Bob was a great friend to my husband and myself and he will truly be missed!
