Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Cecilia Kemp. Survived by wife Phyllis Eberl Kemp; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Joseph Flott of Omaha; Donna and David Lewis of Hilton Head, SC; and Sue and Kyle Wallor of Omaha; granddaughters, Katie, Ellie, Haley, Mallory and Maddy. Robert served in the United States Airforce from 1942 through 1946. Following his service in the military, he obtained his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Buffalo. In 1977, he and his family moved from Buffalo to Omaha with his employer, Western Electric, where he worked for 32 years.
