Robert retired from the City of Omaha after many years of dedicated service. He was a kind and generous man who found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with his grandchildren, tending his garden, and sharing its bounty with neighbors and friends. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his affection for his beloved cat, Spotty, who was his loyal companion for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his loving wife, Carol Rychly.
Robert is survived by his son Jeff Rychly and daughter-in-law Cheri Rychly, and by his cherished granddaughters Abby and Molly Rychly.
His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
