U.S. Army Retired, passed away Sept 27, 2015 at Nebraska Medical Center. He has proudly served his country for 20 years, including overseas tours in Korea, Vietnam and Germany. He loved "his" Army and was a true patriot. In retirement he was active in several Veterans organizations until his illness prevented him to participate anymore. Preceded in death by his parents; sister and niece. Survived by his wife, Madeleine; step-son, Gero; nephew, Louis Jr.; cousins, Angie, Carmen and Irene; special friends, Charley and Rick; beloved pet, "Yoyo". Military Honors by American Legion. A big "Thank you" to his "DaVita" team, nurses, techs and doctors at UNMC. VISITATION September 30, from 5-7pm at Westlawn Hillcrest.
