Ruth Henderson, age 80, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. She was born September 10, 1942 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to parents, Rufus Turner and Ethel Davis. She was one of 11 siblings. Ruth was married to Sherley Henderson Sr. on November 18, 1960.
Ruth is survived by her children, Sherley (Shirley) Henderson Jr., Dwayne Henderson, Loretta Trotter, Henry (Jeanne) Henderson, and Hadda Henderson; siblings, Fred Marion, Doris (Larry) Matlock, and Felands (Paula) Marion; sister-in-law, Hattie Henderson; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sherley Sr.; parents; and 7 siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10am, with Visitation following.
