Teresa entered Heaven on February 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. Brown; parents, Andrea Peres and Rito Torres; brother, EuJenio Torres; sister, Maria Torres; children, Robert T. Covos and Gloria Chavez. She is survived by her children, Maria Jesusa Alford (Jessie), Rodolfo Covos (Rudy); grandchildren, Elisa Baldenegro, Curtis Covos, Cevera Canady, Rocio Chavez, Anthony Covos Golden, Amber Covos Carrete, Angelo Delle, Joey Delle, Angelo Mincks, Chanteil Mincks, Tracey Alford; eight great grandchildren, Jorge Escobedo, Antonio Escobedo, Roberto Escobedo, Sonya Escobedo, Annette C. Johnson, Julian N. Diaz, Olivia Diaz, Noelia Diaz; the new light of her life, her great-great grandchildren, Kamila Escobedo, Jacob Escobedo, Joseph Escobedo, Cruz Oceguera, Giovanni A. Johnson, Emelia N. Diaz.

Teresa was born in St. Louis, Mexico. She devoted her life to caring for her husband, children and grandchildren. She was well known for her determination to persevere, her generosity helping others with open doors and above all, her strong faith, trust and love in the Lord.

In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, walking, and going to church.

Her generosity, love, and kindness will be missed by all who knew her. Let us find joy and peace in knowing she is with the Lord.

Yes, I'm gonna miss you dearly. Miss your homemade Tortillas with butter, your fresh vegetables from your own garden, your talks of encouragements. Gonna miss seeing you in your garden spraying each flower with so much love. Amd telling me what each flower meant.. gonna miss our walks and you telling to pay attention, you might find something valuable. I know now you are with mom (Gloria) and feel happy that you raised us all to be the best God made us to be. Thank you.
