Our dad was the proudest dad when it came to his children and his grandchildren's accomplishments. When he would come home in the summer, he enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Some of his other highlights when he came home for a summer visit was to attend at least one of the College World Series games. Also included in his home visits would be to make his rounds visiting his longtime friends, some of them being snowbirds to Arizona.
Our dad has told us about the time when American Red Cross recognized him for his many times of blood donation. He was very proud of his donations of over 130 pints of blood. Dad was just recently given another recognition that he was proud of. In January of 2022 he was awarded a Gold Veteran's Badge as an honor conferred by the Grand Lodge of International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers. He spent 65 years giving his loyalty and his serving exemplified true value to fellow workers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Eldon Fox and Donald Fox. Son Ken Fox, Grandchildren Stefanie Schneider, Matthew Fox and Jeff Johnson, good friend and ex-wife Joyce Fox. Survived by sister Pat Cooley (Herb), children Diane Johnson (Ray), David Fox (Liz), Timothy Fox (Terrie), Sue Funk (Tim), Barbara Benak (Randy) and Linda Gibilisco (Joe). 17 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren.
