In her class entitled "Experimental Math," VL Pratt turned mathematics into a game of speed, exploration and discovery.  It is a lesson that lasts a lifetime.

Miss Pratt was on inspirational (and highly motivating) teacher. I became a "mathlete" under her tutelage. Her sunny and stead encouragement made me a better student, which served me well throughout my college and graduate school education. I went to Dartmouth thinking I would be a math or physics major. None of my math teachers were her equal and I majored in sociology instead.
Thank you Miss Pratt for all that you taught me and for the great example you set for all of your students!

One of the best teachers ever. Miss Pratt taught me algebra and calculus, and she coached the Central High Math Team to several state-wide championships.

More than that, she took a real interest in all of her students. She challenged me to think. Thanks, Miss Pratt, for your impact on my life.

Tete was also a very devoted friend!  For as long as I can remember she was a primary figure amongst my Mother's closest friends, I'm sorry I lost contact after Mom (Marjorie Lambooy) passed away.
I always enjoyed the conversations we had.

Tete is in our prayers will be missed by all of her family and friends. She was not only a devoted teacher but a loving aunt to all of the Anderson family. We all will miss and remember Tete. As a teacher for 41 years and inducted into the Omaha Central High school  Hall Of fame. She has touched so many lives and will live on. We will miss you Tete very muchand will tell stories about her in the years to come
